In the third installment of our Andrew Thomas Huang-led Bjork trilogy, Wolf & Crow worked throughout pre-production, on-set and countless hours in front of monitors to interweave Oliver Millar’s cinematography, motion capture performances, practical dance footage and a bevy of kaleidoscopic visual effects. As the sartorial backbone of this film is a dress designed by Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele, which was painstakingly hand-crafted over 870 hours.
The finished film won Pitchfork’s Video of the Year, with the assertion: “It’s the type of painstaking, ambitious work you’d hope for in an unattainably perfect world, every detail full of love."
